Georgian Mahogany Twin Canister Tea caddy.
A Superb example of a Georgian Mahogany twin canister tea caddy dating back to c.1815. The tea caddy features a hare wood inlaid to the top of the lid, it is cross banded and angle cut in tulipwood, it sits on four wooden feet. The key does work the lock.
Open the box to reveal it’s original interior to the back of the lid, two mahogany tea canisters and a cut glass mixing bowl to the centre in wonderful condition.
The box is a must for the avid tea caddy collector.
It measures 33 x 16cm and stands 16 cm high.
